Plej Bona Afero

Monaĥo venis al la zne majstro kaj demandis, "Kio estas la plej bona afero en la tuta mondo?"

"Rigardu tien," respondis la zne majstro, gvidante la monaĥo per mano sur la ŝultro kaj indikante malprecize al la horizonto.

"Sed mi vidas nenion!" diris la monaĥo. La zne majstro ne respondis.

Post kelkaj minutoj, la monaĥo vagis malfeliĉe for, nekonscia pri la ŝildo sur lia dorso kiu diris, "Piedbatu min!"

A monk came to the Zne Majstro and asked "What is the best thing in the whole world?"

"Look there," replied the zne majstro, directing the monk with a hand on his shoulder and indicating vaguely toward the horizon.

"But I see nothing!" said the monk. The zne majstro said nothing.

After several minutes, the monk wandered away unhappily, unaware of the sign on his back that said, "Kick me!"
